Kris Ranburger is a lucky woman and Erik Jensen is a lucky man. They are lucky to have found each other. Erik is currently serving like in prison without parole for a crime he did not commit when he was a kid, not yet an adult. America is one of the few countries on earth that still sentences minors to life in prison without parole. If justice is served Erik will be out of prison some day soon.

Mary Ellen Johnson has dedicated her life to advancing the cause of juvenile justice. She helped organize the Pendulum Foundation along with Curt and Pat Jensen. Their son, Erik Jensen was railroaded into a sentence of life in prison without parole and they are working to see that this does not happen to other juveniles.
