Mary Danielson read about Nathan Ybanez in Rolling Stone Magazine who is serving life in prison without parole. She and Nathan both were subjected to sexual abuse at very early ages in their lives. Mary reached out to Nathan and they both had an instant connection. Mary was forced to live with her Aunt and Uncle when she was 5. Mary was raped by her uncle when she was 5 years old up to the age of 13. She had enough. She confronted her aunt and uncle. She ran away when they just laughed at her. She ran away from home that night and started living on the streets at 13 years old. The other street kids were now her family. She wandered the streets until she was 15. She was introduced to exotic topless dancing at 15. She would have to get drunk to go to work because this is not how she saw her life, but at 15 she felt it was all she could do. Mary became an alcoholic at 15. She met Derek, a 31 year old man that “took her under his wing.” Nature took it’s course and young Mary got pregnant by Derek. Life soon turned sour with Derek when he starts abusing Mary physically and emotionally. Mary found out that Derek was a registered sex offender and leaves.

Mary meets Justin, Mr. Wonderful. He is wonderful for a minute. He moved into to Mary’s place after helping kick Derek out. He was supposed to help her pay the rent but he never did.

Justin moved Mary to California promising an new and exciting fresh start. What really happened was she got dropped off in front of the Los Angeles Welfare office and was told to get welfare vouchers for a place to stay. It was obvious that Justin had done his homework. with the Welfare vouchers they were able to move into a seedy hotel in Venice, CA. You know the kind with bars on the windows, holes punched in the hallway walls and dope deals going on at all times of the day.

It did not take long for Justin to start abusing Mary.

There is now hope for Nathan, The Supreme Court recently ruled that sentencing juveniles to life in prison without parole is unconstitutional. Nathan will be getting re-sentenced.

If anyone disputes anything in this story I will include their rebuttals in this blog if they are legitimately tied to this story.
